10 partners from 6 countries united to innovate vocational education and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs

PULSE gathers partners from Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Spain, Greece, and France.

Mundus

Project coordinator. Mundus specializes in international mobility with over a decade of experience aimed at enhancing youth employability. We coordinate mobility projects and lead international cooperation efforts. Our expertise spans four continents—Europe, Africa, America, and Asia—focusing on the internationalization of Vocational Education and Training (VET) centers, skill development for young people and capacity building for professionals.

Since 2019, Mundus has been active in Africa, coordinating the first European Commission SAAM pilot project to test international mobility programs in VET between Africa and Europe. Currently, we are involved in six projects, collaborating with over 50 partners in 20 African countries.

Odyssea

Odyssea is a Greek non-profit founded in 2016, focused on addressing systemic social issues through education, innovation, and community engagement. The organization aims to foster social inclusion by offering training programs that prepare marginalized communities for future labor market roles. Odyssea runs a FabLab for social innovation, along with an Academy in Athens, which provides courses in practical trades such as plumbing, woodworking, and electrical work. Additionally, they operate a Youth Center in Thessaloniki that empowers young people through education and community initiatives.

Odyssea is part of the RoW network, a group of social entrepreneurs committed to decentralized governance and a shared theory of change. The organization has successfully registered many participants, facilitated thousands of training hours, and helped numerous individuals secure employment, making a significant impact in improving social mobility and community development.

Calasanz Santurtzi

Calasanz Santurtzi S.L. is a private vocational training center in Santurtzi, Basque Country, founded in 1969. It serves around 1,500 students annually, offering education from early years to adult vocational training, with a focus on unemployed individuals and job seekers. The center specializes in health, social services, business administration, and marketing.

With over 30 years of collaboration with 400+ companies, Calasanz aligns its training with real industry needs, emphasizing practical experience and soft skills. It promotes entrepreneurship through active learning, project-based methods, and personalized coaching, aiming to develop leadership and employability in students. Certified for quality (EFQM Silver Q and ISO 9001), Calasanz also plays an active role in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, working with public institutions and development agencies to foster job creation and community involvement.

GIP-FIPAN

GIP-FIPAN is a public organization under the Académie de Nice that supports vocational training, professional integration, and lifelong learning in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Created in 2002, it connects the education system with the workforce, offering services like adult education, apprenticeships, and career support.

As part of the FORPRO PACA network, GIP-FIPAN manages training programs, funding, and partnerships with schools, businesses, and local authorities. It also contributes to international projects, helping people gain skills and improve their job prospects.

Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) is a private institution in Morocco, founded in 2013, focused on applied research and innovation to drive sustainable development in Africa. It offers diverse academic programs in fields like science, technology, and business, with campuses in multiple cities.

The UM6P I&E Lab fosters innovation by bringing together researchers, students, and entrepreneurs to solve complex problems and enhance Africa’s business competitiveness. It contributes to regional economic growth through job creation and increased productivity. UM6P also supports international mobility programs, such as the European Commission’s SAAM project, promoting collaboration between Africa and Europe in vocational education and entrepreneurship.

AMTA Academy

AMTA Academy is a private vocational education and training (VET) provider in Sfax, Tunisia, offering diverse programs in areas such as food, water, agriculture, tourism, green energy, robotics, AI, industrial engineering, e-learning, entrepreneurship, textile, fashion modeling, and more. The academy specializes in automotive mechatronics and collaborates with industry partners to provide hands-on training alongside theoretical knowledge.

In addition to its specialized programs, AMTA Academy participates in international projects, such as the European HINTS project, which focuses on green energy, e-learning, and sustainability. The academy is committed to enhancing skills and fostering innovation through practical workshops, industry partnerships, and a strong emphasis on the latest technologies in various sectors.

ESITH

ESITH (The Higher School of Textiles and Garment Industries) in Casablanca, Morocco, was founded in 1996 through a public-private partnership between the Moroccan government and the Moroccan Association of Textiles and Clothing Industries. It is one of Morocco’s top engineering schools, focusing on the textile industry’s needs for skilled professionals, research, innovation, and support for local industries. ESITH is the first Moroccan engineering school to earn the European EUR-ACE label and is a member of AUTEX and a founding member of ITMC.

ESITH offers various specialized programs, including Master’s degrees in Textiles and Garment Engineering, Technical and Smart Textiles, and Textile Product Management, alongside bachelor’s programs in garment and textile production. The school has a research laboratory dedicated to fiber functionalization, natural fiber valorization, and textile waste, producing over 150 publications and 24 patents. ESITH’s close ties to industry and its focus on quality education result in an impressive 92% employability rate for graduates within six months. The campus is strategically located in Casablanca, near public transport and a major industrial zone.

IMSET

The Institut Maghrébin des Sciences Économiques et Technologiques (IMSET) is a private vocational training institution based in Tunisia, founded in 1993. Since 2017, it has been part of Honoris United Universities, with campuses in Tunis, Sousse, Gabès, and Nabeul. IMSET offers programs in fields such as management, computer science, healthcare, agriculture, and technology, with a strong focus on employability and practical skills for students.

The institution is known for its commitment to academic excellence and practical training, facilitating the professional integration of its graduates. It provides modern facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and innovation spaces, along with career counseling services. According to available data, 96% of students would recommend IMSET’s programs, and 90% believe the institution helps them achieve their professional goals.

College of Industrial Technology

The College of Information Technology (CIT) in Libya is a leading public institution specializing in information technology education and research. Established in 1990, CIT offers bachelor’s degrees in various IT disciplines, including Computer Networks, Automated Control Engineering, and Software Development. The curriculum is designed to meet industry demands, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Admission to CIT is competitive, with prospective students required to complete qualifying courses and pass entrance exams. Graduates of CIT are well-regarded in the Libyan technology sector, with many holding prominent positions in government and industry.

Investor Tech

InvestorTech is a Libyan organization focused on digital transformation, business development, and skills enhancement. Originally established in the UK in 2016, it relocated to Libya in 2020 and has since become a trusted partner for individuals and organizations navigating the digital landscape. The company provides guidance on adopting advanced technologies to optimize processes, helping businesses expand their market reach and improve customer experiences. Additionally, InvestorTech plays a pivotal role in equipping individuals with essential digital skills to thrive in the modern economy.

InvestorTech also focuses on consulting and research, offering valuable insights into emerging trends and developing strategies for sustainable growth. The organization is involved in several key initiatives, including GIS projects aimed at supporting data-driven decision-making for local organizations and training programs like E-Skills Libya to help individuals and businesses improve their digital capabilities. Through its work, InvestorTech is dedicated to empowering people and businesses to embrace the digital future and enhance their performance in an increasingly technology-driven world.
