Official launch webinar to present the PULSE project and discuss the current labour market challenges in Tunisia, Morocco and Libya
19 June 2025 – The PULSE project (Promoting Unique Learning Strategies in Entrepreneurship), a new Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiative, is set to launch its official activities with a high-level webinar on June 26, 2025, from 11:00 to 12:30 CEST. This online event, held with English and French interpretation, will bring together voices from across Europe and North Africa to explore how entrepreneurship and innovation can help bridge the gap between vocational education and training (VET) and the labour market in the region.
The event will address the most pressing challenges facing youth employment in Tunisia, Morocco, and Libya, and introduce the PULSE project as a bold, forward-thinking solution that places entrepreneurial learning at the center of youth empowerment and economic inclusion.
Featured Speakers Include:
- Dr. Halim Hamzaoui, Director of the ILO Office for Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, and Tunisia
- José Ramos Gómez, Director, ITLENT – Basque Institute of Talent in VET

Why It Matters:
With youth unemployment rates remaining critically high across North Africa, the PULSE project responds with an innovative, action-oriented approach: using entrepreneurship methodologies to enhance creativity, employability, and economic participation among young people. By strengthening the links between VET systems and local economies, PULSE aims to build more inclusive, future-ready education ecosystems.
